Stuck On Android Is Starting Optimizing App 1 Of 1

"android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution. I have a moto g (2nd gen) and when i turn it on e.g. after it crashes, it gets stuck. it goes through the motorola loading screen with the stitching animation but whe my lock screen should appear a white pop up appears infront of a black screen saying, "android is starting: optimising app 1 of 1" where it gets stuck.. Took about 10mins to boot up with the message "android is starting, optimizing app 1 of 1". the only solution for me was to reset my mobile to factory default. make sure you do a complete back up before resetting..
